Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) TelemetryOverview: Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Nurse, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care within a fast-paced Telemetry Department. This leadership-oriented role offers the opportunity to utilize your clinical expertise, coordinate interdisciplinary teams, and positively impact patient outcomes. - Minimum of 2 years of professional nursing experience*
- Current RN license in the state of practice*
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association*
- Proficiency in utilizing computers, software, and web-based applications*
- Effective verbal and written communication skills*
- Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity*
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities*
- Sound judgment and critical thinking skills
- Associate or Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)*
- Previous experience in an emergency or critical care setting
- Ability to perform heavy physical work, including lifting and moving patients or equipment (exerting 25-100 pounds as needed)*
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, potentially stressful environment with exposure to blood, body fluids, tissues, and communicable diseases*
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations, accreditation standards, and safety protocols*
- Adherence to hospital compliance, privacy, and safety standards, including immediate reporting of unethical behaviors or safety concerns*
- This role may require working various shifts, including nights, weekends, or holidays; flexibility is essential*
- Physical stamina to meet demanding job requirements
