Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse Operating RoomOverview: Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Nurse, where your expertise will directly impact patient care and outcomes. In this leadership-driven role, you will utilize the Nursing Process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice to deliver exceptional care. Your ability to delegate, direct, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team will be key in fostering a supportive environment that prioritizes patient safety, cultural competence, and professional growth. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced setting dedicated to excellence and continuous improvement.Pay Package: $2,600 Weekly Shift: 6:30am - 5pmRequired Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice*
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including specialization in Orthopedics, ENT, Plastics, or Robotics (DaVinci experience required)*
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and good time management*
- Demonstrated good judgment and interpersonal skills*
- Ability to effectively assess patient learning needs and implement teaching strategies*
- Proven delegation skills and ability to manage nursing team resources*
- Experience working with confidential information in a fast-paced environment*
- Basic computer skills for documentation and communication
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred*
- Leadership experience or prior supervisory roles in nursing settings
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association*
- Certification in a clinical specialty area preferred*
- Ability to perform heavy work, exerting up to 100 pounds of force, with accommodations available as needed*
- Physical ability to work in environments involving exposure to blood, body fluids, and potentially communicable diseases*
- Compliance with all applicable laws, standards, and safety protocols, including handling hazardous medications and waste when necessary
