- Proficient in the Nursing Process for patient care delivery*
- Strong assessment and teaching capabilities tailored to diverse patient needs*
- Effective communication, delegation, and team management skills*
- Data utilization for evaluation and process improvement*
- Sound judgment and interpersonal skills*
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities*
- Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred)*
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience
- Current Louisiana RN license*
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association*
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (preferred)*
- Ability to perform heavy physical work, including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and frequent activity requiring standing or walking*
- Compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements*
- Willingness to adapt to general and physical demands of the role, with reasonable accommodations as needed
