Job Description

Job Title: Emergency Room RN - Travel ContractOverview: Medical Edge Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join an emergency room team in Winfield, KS, on a 13-week contract with potential for permanent placement. This essential role offers an opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic hospital environment, supporting both patient recovery and organizational excellence. If you are a motivated RN with a passion for emergency medicine, this position provides a rewarding challenge in a reputable healthcare setting.Pay Package:
  • $53 per hour (local rate)
  • Travel rate: $30 per hour + $1,000 weekly stipend
Required Skills:
  • Valid Kansas (or compact state) RN license
  • Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience
  • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and TNCC certifications
  • Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
  • Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Prior experience in hospital emergency departments or trauma settings
Other Requirements:
  • Must pass a criminal record check as per state law
  • Availability to work night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM
  • No travel or housing restrictions; stipends provided
  • Must maintain all certifications current throughout the assignment
