Job Description

RN (Registered Nurse) – Psychiatric Inpatient Care 48 HOUR SCHEDULE - $3,498 PER WEEK!Overview Join Medical Edge as a dedicated Psychiatric RN and make a meaningful impact in a high-acuity inpatient behavioral health setting. Offering stability through a 24-week contract at a state psychiatric hospital in Pueblo, Colorado, this role provides an excellent opportunity to showcase your clinical expertise while earning competitive pay and developing your professional resume in adult inpatient psychiatry. If you excel in structured mental health environments, this position is designed for you to thrive and grow your career.Pay Package: $3,498 per week Shift: 12 hour day or night shift (48/48)Required Skills
  • Active Colorado RN license or compact license*
  • BLS certification (AHA)*
  • Minimum of 1 year recent acute psychiatric experience*
  • Strong CPI / de-escalation skills*
  • Comfortable managing high-acuity behavioral patients*
  • Ability to work 12-hour day or night shifts*
  • Flexibility to start roles on rolling dates
Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience in behavioral crisis stabilization and medication management*
  • Excellent therapeutic communication and de-escalation skills
Preferred Education and Experience
  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred)*
  • At least 2 years of relevant psychiatric nursing experience in inpatient settings
Other Requirements
  • Willingness to undergo background check as per state law*
  • Ability to work unsupervised in a security-supported environment*
  • Strong interdisciplinary teamwork and clinical autonomy
