Position Responsibilities:

In this position, you'll actively be providing pre-operative, post-operative, and post-anesthesia care at both our Crow Valley Surgery Center & Quad City Ambulatory Surgery Center. You'll admit and prepare the patient for surgery, assess and evaluate the patient during recovery, provide ongoing information to the patient and caregiver, and provide discharge instructions to the patient and caregiver as appropriate. This is a hands-on role responsible for making our patients as comfortable as possible during all phases of their time in our surgery centers. ORA holds all of our staff members accountable for providing high-level care, maintaining patient confidentiality, and complying with all HIPAA rules and regulations. As a member of our ASC team, you're actively involved in hands-on care that makes a significant difference in the lives of our patients.

Requirements:

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as an active RN Iowa license. We would prefer previous OR and/or orthopedic experience, but it is not required. A successful candidate will display excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, a strong ability to multitask and prioritize appropriately, and the ability to effectively communicate and interact with patients and their families. This candidate must have the ability to travel as needed.

The pay range displayed for this position represents the pay range for all positions that are classified in this job grade. Individual pay will depend on a wide range of factors such as candidate skills, experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and alignment with company benchmarks.
