Job Description

A leading healthcare organization is actively hiring a Home Health RN in their home health program to join its growing care team serving patients.Location: Metairie, LouisianaContract Duration: 27 Weeks (Extension possible based on business needs)Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PMWeekly Guarantee: 40 HoursCoverage Area: New Orleans and surrounding area s On-Call/Weekend Requirement: NoneCompensation: (Mileage reimbursement between patient-to-patient visit: $0.48/Mile)

Local Pay: $53.00 – $57.00 per hour
Travel Package: $2,618.46 Weekly
- Lodging: $1,018.46/week
- M&IE: $560.00/week

Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a Home Health assignment supporting patients throughout the New Orleans area. The RN will provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes while ensuring high-quality patient outcomes and compliance with agency standards.Key Responsibilities

Deliver skilled nursing care in a home health setting
Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor patient progress and document visits accurately
Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams
Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and disease management
Maintain timely and compliant clinical documentation

Required Qualifications

Active RN License
Home Health experience required
HCHB (Homecare Homebase) experience required
Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
Ability to work independently and manage travel within coverage territory
