Immediate need for a talented Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care- Float Nursing. This is a 06 months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Douglasville, GA (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $43 - $48/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Exemplary Patient Care
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes using evidence-based practice.
- Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care that reflects cultural sensitivity and population-specific needs.
- Provide clear communication, patient updates, and bedside shift reports to support patient and family engagement.
- Teamwork & Collaboration
- Coordinate safe, high-quality care in alignment with organizational care delivery models.
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including providers, case managers, and support staff.
- Participate in team meetings, rounds, case reviews, and improvement initiatives.
- Professional Growth & Development
- Complete all competency assessments, mandatory education, and population-specific training.
- Serve as a mentor or preceptor to support the development of new nurses and students.
- Maintain professionalism, accountability, and high standards of practice.
- Evidence-Based Practice & Research
- Promote evidence-based practice, participate in performance improvement, and contribute to care evaluations.
- Consult with experts and utilize resources to evaluate clinical questions and improve patient outcomes.
- Resource Management
- Plan proactively for patient care needs across the continuum.
- Support protocol development, reduce avoidable days, and promote efficient use of resources.
- Comply with policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Key Skills; BSN, BLS, experience as a Registered Nurse
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), Nursing Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Active RN license (GA or Compact)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, time management, and adaptability
- Ability to function effectively in a rapid, changing environment
