Quipt Home Medical is a rapidly growing leader in the provision of clinical respiratory equipment and service in the durable medical equipment industry. We are looking for driven individuals to come grow with us.
Position:
Registered Nurse, Respiratory Services (PRN)
General Description:
Quipt Home Medical is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to practice respiratory care services.
Job duties include but not limited to:
- Sets up all highly technical respiratory equipment including but not limited to: a) CPAP/BIPAP b) Noninvasive ventilator c) Other high-tech respiratory equipment as defined by scope of service at the location (e.g. Cough assist, negative pressure ventilation, IPPB, etc.)
- Help patients with aerosol therapy, oxygen and other home healthcare equipment
- Provide care and education accordingly
- Provides initial and ongoing phone contacts with all respiratory patients
- Provide in-home visits to patients
- Conducts patient assessment
- Maintains documentation of all services provided and all work performed
- Assumes on-call responsibilities during non-business hours
Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Credentials as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Must be licensed in KY and OH
- Valid driver's license.
- Home respiratory care experience is preferred
- Must be able to use Microsoft Office-Excel, Word, Access
- Excellent verbal skills
- Strong problem solving, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to uphold the principles of compliance as outlined in the Employee Handbook and related policies and procedures.
