The team at Immediate Care works together to provide patients of all ages with personalized care. From acute illnesses to injuries, we offer a range of services because our patients' health is our priority!
What You'll Do:
- Provide direct nursing care in a high-volume Immediate Care/Walk-In setting
- Triage patients presenting with acute illnesses or injuries, both in-person and via telephone
- Perform rapid assessments and collaborate with providers to deliver timely, efficient care
- Administer medications, vaccines, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed
- Assist with urgent procedures, including wound care, splinting, and EKGs
- Conduct point-of-care testing, collect specimens, and manage lab follow-ups
- Document clinical findings and interventions accurately in the EMR
- Monitor patients for changes in condition and escalate care when necessary
- Promote patient education for acute concerns, medication use, and follow-up care
- Support safety protocols, infection prevention, and emergency response procedures
Who You Are:
Education: Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
Licensure: Registered Nurse licensed in NH, NLC state, or MA; BLS/CPR certification required
Experience: 1 year of nursing experience required; urgent care or emergency nursing preferred
Skills & Traits:
Skilled in rapid triage and decision-making
Calm under pressure and excellent in fast-paced environments
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Compassionate, detail-oriented, and team-oriented
Technical: Proficient in EMR systems and basic Windows applications
Preferred Certifications: RN-BC, CCTM, or specialty certifications in urgent or emergency care
