Montana State Hospital (MSH) is the only public psychiatric hospital in Montana and is eager to build an environment of dedicated and energetic full-time Registered Nurses. A Registered Nurse (RN) at Montana State Hospital utilizes a "Team Nursing" approach to provide care and support to clients within the framework of a therapeutic environment. This position performs nursing assessment, planning, interventions, and evaluation for adult clients with serious mental illness in the facility. Responsibilities include assigning work and providing direction and training to subordinate nursing personnel.

Qualifications for this Career Opportunity
Knowledge of nursing, medications, and treatment planning.
Strong knowledge in patients' rights regarding medical treatment.
Ability to plan and implement appropriate nursing care interventions.
Meet minimum qualifications:
Must be a graduate of an accredited college or university degree in nursing.
Must have an active, unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Montana, or the ability to become licensed in the State of Montana.
Preferred experience working with psychiatric inpatient treatment programs.
