Job Description

Facility: University of Vermont Medical Center

Need a 12/01 Start - Assignment for 16-32 weeks -ED RN: Rotating D/N. A minimum of every other weekend and/or schedule adjusted to meet the needs of the unit and patient care. Must be flexible with schedule. Travelers must work 2 out of the 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Years Day.

Requirements: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC required; TNCC must be in packet or proof of class prior to start, NIHSS required prior to start CEN, ENPC, MOAB, ProAct of other de-escalation training such as CPS preferred A minimum of 2 years of experience Prior travel required if RN has worked in larger (500+bed counts), teaching facilities and more than one ER the facility is willing to forgo this requirement Large, teaching facility experience required EPIC experience from within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable

Additional Information: IVS to OFFER Monday to Sunday No block schedules for any reason Bi-weekly orientations on Monday Please ensure all employment gaps over 90 days are explained This facility requires ALL work history information (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) to be complete in order to submit Disclaimers: Public Transportation is NOT accessible in this area, please ensure you have reliable transportation, personal vehicle or rental vehicle are strongly recommended Vehicles should be equipped with all season or snow tires during the months of November April
