Pay Rate: $40 per hour

Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00A-3:00P

Location: Metairie, LA

Position Requirements:

At least 1 year Experience Required.
Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other specialists and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care.
Provide 1:1 care for elementary school age child with profound medical condition and continuous oxygen therapy during the 2026-2027 school year.
Child has minimal verbal communication.
Assignment is Monday-Friday for the entire school year.
Will accompany child through school day including class, library, cafeteria, recess.
Continuous monitoring of airway and distress.
Reports any change in physical status of patient.
Responds quickly in any circumstance and cares for patients professionally and courteously.

Credential Requirements (to be verified after interview):

Active LA RN License
Active BLS Certification
Current TB Skin Test, Quantiferon Results, or Chest X-Ray
Hep B (or declination)
