Job Summary: 

Oncology Clinical Nurse to provide and coordinate all clinical aspects of care for the Oncology/Hematology patients in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to achieve predetermined quality outcomes

Qualifications: 

• Education Associate degree in nursing required BSN preferred
• Experience Oncology experience preferred not required,
• Hospital experience and or subacute experience,
• Ambulatory Care experience preferred not required,
• Licences Certifications Valid New Jersey RN license BLS certification

Scheduling Requirements: 

• Full Time
• Day Shift
• 40 hours 

Essential Functions:

• Administering chemotherapy/immunotherapy, Iron infusions, IV hydration, non chemo IV infusions, blood transfusions, therapeutic phlebotomies, blood transfusions and injections,
• Monitor patient's response to treatment,
• The clinical nurse will be expected to perform clinical assessments, symptom management and nursing care to venous access devices, patient education, phone triage, working with physicians, carrying out plan of care and coordinate multiple appointments
