- Experience: 2 years of RN experience in acute care preferred; First-time travelers need 2 years of permanent staff RN experience
- Patient Types: Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, Post-Op, and various medical conditions including sepsis, CHF, COPD, COVID, and more
- Pay Rate: $46.90/hour

- 24/7 dedicated team support throughout your assignment
- Provide patient-centered care on a busy MedSurg/Telemetry unit
- Monitor and respond to patient conditions, including cardiac rhythms
- Manage wound care, drains, and pain management
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including hospitalists, RT, PT, OT, and others
- Support patient safety and compliance standards
- Float across Med/Surg units as needed
- Complete appropriate documentation in Meditech Expanse EMR system
- Active RN license in Louisiana or eligible to practice in Louisiana
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in acute care
- Ability to pass an EKG competency exam
- Strong wound management skills and experience with complex patient care
- Experience with Telemetry and Post-Operative Care
- Ability to adapt quickly to unit workflows
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
