Registered Nurse - ER

Registered Nurse - ERElevate your nursing career by joining our dynamic Emergency Department team as a Registered Nurse – ER. We’re seeking dedicated professionals eager to deliver exceptional care in a fast-paced setting.Required Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, CPI or MOAB certifications
• Ability to pass an EKG competency exam
• Proficiency in NGT tube insertion, IV starts, chest tube management, defibrillation, splinting, stroke/NIHSS assessment, ICU GTT management
• Strong clinical judgment and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Nice to Have Skills:

• TNCC certification
• Experience with Meditech Expanse EMR
• Familiarity with Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication systems
• Previous experience as a traveler or in a similar high-volume ED

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Registered Nurse with an active state license
• At least 2 years of recent ED experience
• Prior travel nursing experience is a plus but not mandatory; candidates must have 2 years of perm staff RN experience if first-time travelers

Other Requirements:

• Separation of at least 1 year from previous employment if previously a permanent staff RN
• Ability to work various shifts including 7 on/7 off, 3/2, or 5/2 rotations, with weekend and holiday work expectations
• Flexibility to work in neighboring ED units occasionally
• Willingness to work night shifts and participate in holiday rotations
• Scrub colors: Pewter; uniform shirts: gray, white, or black with WK monogram; jackets: gray or black
• Badge must be worn visibly at all times
• Free parking available at designated areas
• Start date: 04/06/2026
• Hourly Pay Rate: $46.90
