Shift: 12H Days (rotation as scheduled)
Hours/Week: 36-40 hours/week
Employment Type: Contract (W-2)
Licenses/Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required
Experience: 1+ year of RN experience in acute care; previous Med/Surg experience preferred

Pay & Benefits

Hourly Pay Rate: $48.24

What Youll Do

Provide direct patient care on the Med/Surg/Telemetry unit
Monitor and assess patient conditions, including post-transplant and general medical patients
Administer medications, including cardiac drips, and manage IVs
Support with procedures like phlebotomy, wound care, and other bedside tasks
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including hospitalists, RT, OT, PT, and ST
Document patient care accurately in Meditech Expanse EMR system
Float to other units within scope of practice as needed
Comply with all unit protocols, including passing the EKG competency exam

What You Need

Valid RN license in Louisiana or the ability to obtain
Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience in acute care settings
Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
Ability to read cardiac strips and perform essential procedures
Strong clinical skills and ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
