Your role will involve collaborating with healthcare teams, implementing care plans, and responding swiftly to patient needs during 12-hour night shifts. Your expertise will support positive patient outcomes and uphold the standards of excellent healthcare.Required Skills:

• Active Kansas Registered Nursing License (KS RN)
• BLS Certification
• Minimum of 1 year recent acute care RN experience in medical or step-down units
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice to Have Skills:

• Previous experience in step-down or cardiac units
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred but not required
• At least 1 year of recent acute care nursing experience in a hospital setting

Other Requirements:

• Flexibility to work 12-hour night shifts
• Willingness to work weekends and as needed for holidays and coverage
• Floating between Medical Floor and Step Down Units as required
• Reliable transportation and adherence to all safety and health protocols
