What You’ll Do:

• Provide high-quality pediatric critical care in a 6-bed PICU setting
• Titrate medications including pressors, insulin, heparin, and sedation agents
• Assist with patient assessments, blood draws, and wound care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including intensivists, hospitalists, and RTs
• Support patient families with compassionate care during critical moments
• Float to adult ICU or Med/Tele units if qualified and approved
• Follow hospital protocols and unit-specific procedures using Meditech Expanse EMR

What You Need:Required:

• State licensure as an RN
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
• 2+ years PICU experience
• PIV skills, CVL, telemetry, wound care
• Ability to titrate medications and pass an EKG competency exam

Preferred:

• Experience with neuro and post-op spinal surgeries
• Cross-trained to float to Adult ICU or Med/Tele units
• Comfort with complex patient care and vent management

The PICU provides specialized pediatric critical care for patients with diagnoses such as DKA, sepsis, respiratory failure, and neuro post-op care, without trauma or transplants.
