Job Description

Registered Nurse- Peri OperativeJoin our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Nurse- Peri Operative and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced surgical setting. This position offers an excellent opportunity to utilize your peri-operative expertise while enjoying a supportive work environment that values your skills and dedication.Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing care.
Collaborate closely with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Monitor patient vitals and respond swiftly to any changes.
Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient progress.
Follow all hospital protocols and safety procedures.

Required Skills:

Valid RN license and current BLS certification.
Minimum of 2 years of peri-operative nursing experience.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations.

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience with surgical equipment and technology.
Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures.
Certification in peri-operative nursing (CNOR or equivalent).

Preferred Education and Experience:

Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
Prior experience in a surgical or peri-operative environment.

Other Requirements:

No local candidates within 50 miles will be considered.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Duration: 13 weeks.
Travel and licensure/certification reimbursements as applicable.
No weekend or holiday shifts.
