- Experience: At least 2 years of recent hospital RN experience in acute care; first-time travelers must meet experience criteria
- Patient Population: Including Respiratory Failure, Sepsis, Stroke, DKA, post-heart cath, post-arteriogram/atherectomy
- Patient Ratios: RN: 1:3
- Floats: Will float to Stroke unit, Medsurg (1:5-6), and other units as needed
- Hourly Pay Rate: $50.25
- Pay Package: Discussed upon application

- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to diverse patient populations
- Monitor and manage patients with complex conditions such as respiratory failure, sepsis, stroke, and DKA
- Administer medications and IV therapies, including CVL management, drip titrations, and tube feedings
- Conduct assessments, pass competency exams (including EKG), and ensure compliance with protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including hospitalists, RTs, PT/OT/ST staff
- Document patient care accurately in EMR (Meditech Expanse)
- Support unit functions as needed, including patient transport and assistance with procedures
- Active RN license in Louisiana
- Minimum 2 years of recent hospital RN experience in acute care
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- Ability to pass an EKG competency exam
- Experience with CVL placement, arterial lines, tube feedings, and drip titrations
- Flexibility to float to multiple units and handle variable patient care scenarios
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Additional certifications in specialized areas
