Registered Nurse - PCU

Registered Nurse - PCUJoin our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Nurse specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and make a meaningful difference in patient care. We are seeking dedicated, experienced nurses who thrive in fast-paced environments and are committed to delivering exceptional care.Required Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years of current RN experience in acute care settings
• Proficiency in PCU-level nursing, including CVA, TIA, CVL management, Foley catheter management, tube feedings via NGT or PEG, arterial lines, and diabetes management
• Experience with drip titration (Levophed, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Insulin)
• Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to assignment
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to handle high-acuity patient care with confidence and professionalism

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with NIHSS assessments
• Familiarity with EMR systems like Meditech Expanse
• Knowledge of IV pump management and medication dispensing via Pyxis
• Previous experience with PICC/midline placement support
• Ability to float to Stepdown and Med/Surg units as required

Preferred Education and Experience:

• RN license in good standing
• Proven track record with at least 2 years of acute care experience
• Prior experience working in PCU or similar fast-paced environments

Other Requirements:

• Valid RN licensure and relevant certifications
• Ability to work scheduled shifts, including weekends and major holidays
• Must adhere to facility dress code, including pewter scrubs and monogrammed T-shirts
• No cell phone usage or eating in patient care areas
• Parking available in designated areas
• Willingness to work in a supportive, team-oriented environment with a focus on professionalism and patient safety
• Scheduled start date: 05/04/2026
• Hourly pay rate: $50.25
