Job Description

Registered Nurse - Post AnesthesiaJoin our esteemed healthcare team as a Registered Nurse specializing in Post Anesthesia Carean integral role that ensures optimal recovery and post-operative care for our patients. This position is perfect for dedicated RNs seeking to advance their career in a fast-paced, specialized unit.Required Skills:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Post Anesthesia or PACU setting
Current ACLS and BLS certification
NIHSS certification highly preferred
Proficiency in using Cerner electronic health record system
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience with Thoracic, Orthopedic, Neurology, Vascular, Urology, or General Surgery cases
Certification in specialized perioperative or recovery nursing
Prior experience with nurse call systems and multidisciplinary team collaboration

Preferred Education and Experience:

Current RN license in good standing
Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
At least 2 years of recent PACU or high-acuity nursing experience

Other Requirements:

No local candidates within 50 miles
Schedule: 9:00 AM 9:30 PM, 13-week assignment starting 08/25/2025
Unit covers holidays with on-call responsibilities
Must comply with all company and regulatory requirements, including certifications and healthcare regulations
