BMT(14 & 15W James) - Oncology / Mixed acuity PCU and MS unit

12HR D/N ROTATING SHIFTS -OR- 12HR NIGHT SHIFTS

Experience: Must have MS and inpatient hematology oncology experience in checklist (1 year minimum). Heme Onc experience is strongly preferred. Chemo certification is required.

Patient Diagnoses:" Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL)" Acute Myeloid Leukemia (Adult)" Amyloidosis" Aplastic Anemia" Chronic Leukemia" Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL)" Chronic Myeloid (Myelogenous) Leukemia" Hodgkin's Lymphoma" Multiple Myeloma" Myelodysplastic Syndrome" Myeloproliferative Disorders" Non-Hodgkin s LymphomaSpecial Procedures/Unit Details:" Autologous Transplants: Patients receive their own stem cells." Syngeneic Transplants: Patients receive stem cells from their identical twin." Allogeneic Transplants: Patients receive stem cells from their sibling, parent, or an unrelated donor." CAR-T Therapy

Certifications Required:" Basic Life Support (BLS)" Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Certification

Preferred Certifications:" Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

COMPUTERIZED CHARTING" EPIC experience required

Skills Required:" MS/Tele (Medical-Surgical/Telemetry)" Telemetry monitoring" Interpretation of dysrhythmias" Use of Rapid Response Teams" Feeding tube care and management" Blood product administration" Central line blood draw" Peripheral line care/management" PICC line management" Nasal cannula administration" Central line sterile dressing changes" Chemotherapy administration

If you accept a 12D/N rotating contract, you may be scheduled for days, nights, or a combination of both, depending on the department s needs. Shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period, but changes are not guaranteed and are based on staffing priorities at that time.Facility Name: James Cancer Hospital and Research
