Responsibilities
Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced ER.
Assess patient conditions, triage, and initiate appropriate treatment plans.
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff to streamline patient throughput.
Adhere to safety, infection control, and quality standards with measurable outcomes.
Monitor vital signs, document findings, and communicate changes to the care team.
Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions per protocols.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the EHR system.
Participate in performance metrics and contribute to pipeline-based planning for patient care capacity.
Identify opportunities for process improvements to reduce wait times and improve outcomes.
Demonstrate adaptability by handling high-volume demand while maintaining quality care.
Engage in ongoing professional development to advance clinical competencies and certifications.
Mentor and educate junior staff and new hires to support development goals.
Experience/Qualifications
Current RN license and valid certification (ER/ACLS preferred).
Active BLS/CPR certification and AED readiness for emergency care.
Minimum 2 years ER/acute care nursing experience required.
Proficiency in triage, rapid assessment, and protocol-driven treatment.
Demonstrated ability to work in high-volume, fast-paced ER with high throughput.
Strong EHR documentation skills and accurate charting in real time.
Ability to monitor, interpret vitals, and escalate changes promptly.
Familiarity with infection control, safety standards, and quality metrics.
Team collaboration skills and ability to mentor junior staff and new hires.
Performance-driven mindset with ability to work toward pipeline-based capacity planning.
