Key Responsibilities Provide safe, high-quality pre- and post-procedural nursing care using the nursing process and evidence-based practice Perform patient assessments, care planning, implementation, and evaluation Monitor patients before and after GI procedures and respond to changes in condition Deliver patient- and family-centered education related to procedures and recovery Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Serve as a preceptor/mentor as needed Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Support quality improvement, patient safety, and compliance standards Participate in shared governance, professional development, and competency requirements Key Requirements and Technology Experience: Key Skills; Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical judgment skills Experience in procedural, pre-op/post-op, GI, or acute care settings preferred Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills Ability to work PRN day shifts Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred Licensure & Certifications (required upon hire): Active RN License (Single-State of Georgia or Compact) BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) Minimum 1 years direct patient care nursing experience Ability to deliver individualized care in a fast-paced acute care environment Commitment to Hospital care standards, safety policies, and code of conduct Ability to work night shift (for this specific role) Our client is a leading Healthcare Industry , and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar fulltime positions.
