Pre Screening Question: Please confirm that traveler is aware they may be asked to float across ICU, MS, and PCU. Will also be asked to float to ED as a helping hands.

Position / Specialty: Critical Care Float

Schedule: 3x12's 7:00-19:30

Years of experience REQ: 3 yearsScreen >1.5 years and strong exp

ICU unit with floating to PCU- ICU/PCU/MS- RN must be able to take higher ratio's
Screen strong PCU RN's

First timers accepted: No

Certs REQ: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Locals accepted: No.

Float Required: Yes, Resource Traveler and floating between ICU/PCU, MS, and the ED based on departmental needs.

Pending License accepted: No. IN-STATE LICENSE / REQUIRED CERTS MUST BE IN HAND TO SUB

RTO Restrictions: Must work 2/3 major holidays.

Guaranteed Hours: 8 and 10 hr. shifts

40 hrs. in one workweek. 3, 12 hr shifts
36 hrs. in one workweek. 4, 12 hr. shifts
48 hrs. in one workweek.

Special Requirements: Ventilator, Artic Sun, Balloon Pump (rare <3 in the last year).

Unit Information: ARDS, COPD, STEMI, NSTEMI, DKA, AKI's, UTI's, Acute Shock. Resource Traveler and floating between ICU/PCU, MS, and the ED based on departmental needs. Cath Lab, TR Bands, Sheath Pulls, EEG's, Cardioversion, Stress Tests

Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN s to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW).Periop/OR RN s, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS
