Job Description
Join our dedicated team at the Mother Baby Center in Coon Rapids, MN, where you can make a difference in a supportive and dynamic environment. Our facility is a teaching hospital and a Level 2 Trauma Center, providing an excellent opportunity for career growth and development.
Position Details
- Shift: 3x12 Days/Nights (0700-1930, 1900-0730)
- Average Daily Census: 8 deliveries/day; post-partum: 15/day
- Years of Experience Required: 2 years of Labor & Delivery with post-partum experience
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Certifications Required: BLS, NRP
- On-call Requirement: No
- Floating: Will float as needed
- Block Schedule: Not accommodated
- Local Candidates: Not accepted within a 100-mile radius
- Pending License: Accepted
- RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days
- Guaranteed Hours: Client may cancel up to 3 shifts at any time
Special Requirements
- Sterile vaginal exam experience
- Fetal Monitoring Skills: External/Internal Fetal Monitoring, IUPC placement and calibration, recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
- Experience with Pitocin (oxytocin) administration and epidural anesthesia management
