Immediate need for a talented RegisteredNurse Manager – Radiology. This is a Fulltime opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Augusta, Georgia (Onsite). Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location). Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and management for radiology unit(s) to achieve clinical and business outcomes
- Serve as the unit’s chief retention and safety officer
- Engage staff through shared governance and relationship-based care models
- Manage staffing, budgeting, and resource utilization effectively
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and safety standards
- Promote professional development, coaching, and mentoring of staff and leaders
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support service excellence
- Lead performance improvement, evidence-based practice, and research initiatives
- Represent the organization positively within the community and professional settings
- Uphold client policies, professional standards, and code of conduct
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Key Skills; Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or Compact)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to manage clinical, operational, financial, and human resources
- Experience with shared governance, quality improvement, and performance management
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and technology for decision-making
- Ability to lead change initiatives and foster a culture of safety and excellence
- Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Licensure & Certifications (required upon hire):
- Active RN License (Single-State of Georgia or Compact)
- BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Minimum 2 years of progressive nursing management experience required
- Ability to work night shift (for this specific role)
- Ability to deliver individualized care in a fast-paced acute care environment
- Commitment to Hospital care standards, safety policies, and code of conduct
