JOB DETAILS:Target Ratios: 1:5, occasional 1:6*36 or 48 Hours can be offered.Unit will accept contracts for 13 weeks.Shift: 12 HR NIGHTSFloat Requirement: Yes (Sister Units).Weekend Requirement: every other.

PATIENT DIAGNOSES: 24 bed medsurg/tele overflow unit; 1:6 ratio with CNAs to help support (1:12). We are a diverse team and pride ourselves in our team work. We exist to provide our patients with a remarkable experience in every dimension at every time in collaboration with our Novant Inpatient Care Specialists (NICS). Our goals are to restore physiologic stability, prevent complications, achieve and maintain optimal responses that result in quality patient care.

SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Telemetry is monitored on another unit by a tech. Nurse must be able to correctly treat dysrhythmias.

UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, Epic, SBAR

UNIT ORIENTATION: 36 hours

Hospital Orientation week one; traveler must be available for classes each day.
