IMPORTANT TO NOTE BEFORE SUBMITTING - THIS IS A MED SURG ORTH UNIT HOWEVER WILL BE FLOATED TO MS/TELE UNITS AS NEEDED THEREFORE BEING CLASSED AS A MS/TELE POSITION AND SO WILL NEED ACLS AND COMPLETE AN EKG EXAM DURING ONBOARDING.

CHARGE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Must have at least one year s experience with Epic EMR

MS/TELE / Ortho - minimum 1 yr recent experience within a large healthcare facility. Must have strong Ortho experience. Travelers will float as needed.

Start: Approx 3 weeks after acceptingShift: 3 x 12 hr

Floating: While Prisma Health prioritizes keeping staff in their home unit, agency staff are required to float to other units or campuses as needed. Floating is limited to areas where staff are qualified and have documented competencies.

Charting: 1 yr of EPIC experience required

Hospital Highlights: Prisma Health Richland Hospital is a regional teaching medical center in Columbia, South Carolina. It is designated as a Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center and features 641 licensed beds. The hospital offers advanced specialty programs including cardiac care, stroke, and vascular services. It also houses an Acute Care for the Elderly (ACE) unit for patients 65+ at higher risk for complications, staffed by a multidisciplinary team focused on mobility, recovery, and reducing length of stay.
