2S Med Rehab RN3x12hr NIGHTS 7p-7a; weekdays, every other weekend, float

Unit Description: 24 Beds. Cerebrovascular disease, traumatic brain injury, amputees, spinal cord injuries, deconditioning, neurological diseasesSpecial Procedures/Unit Details: Each patient has a care team assigned to them. A physiatrist, NP, nurse, 2 therapist (depending on need which 2 they are), and social worker. The team collaborates to create a plan for the patient. Therapy works with the pt's 3 hours a day M-F. LOS is around 2 weeks.Orientation held every other week on ThursdayCerts Required: BLS (must be AHA), acute care rehab preferredRatio: Days 1:4/5, Nights 1:5/6Experience Required: 2 Years of RN Experience Required; 1 Year in-specialty Experience required; Charge exp preferredFirst-timers acceptedEvery other weekend requiredNo call requirementRN Can be floated within scope to meet facilities needs when requiredOpen to accommodating block schedule requests - discuss in interview100mi. Radius Rule (75-99mi. can be sent for facility approval)WV/Compact RN License required - can submit with pending RN license but must have WV/Compact license active to startNo RTO restrictions; must include requests on application and discuss during interviewGuaranteed Hours: 36 or 48hr/week options - discuss with managerPatient Diagnoses: SCI, TBI, STROKE, AMPUTATION, NEUROMUSCULAR DX, SEVERE DECONDITIONING R/T CARDIAC OR RESPIRATORY EVENT

-Perm employees cannot return to CAMC as a traveler for 2 Years after last day worked perm

-Flu Shot: Please DO NOT SEND ANYONE WHO REFUSES FLU SHOT WITHOUT MEDICAL PROOF. CAMC requires all personnel take flu vaccine unless they have allergy documented by an allergist or physician record. CAMC FLU SEASON IS OCTOBER 1st - MARCH 31st. NOT REQUIRED OUTSIDE OF THAT WINDOW.

-Covid Vaccine NOT required

-ONE PDF MUST CONTAIN: Candidate profile (work history), Specialty specific skills checklist, Min. 2 Mgr/Charge References (within past 2yrs.), RN Lic. verification (NURSYs pulled within 2 days of sub date – clean lic. required – hits submitted for case-by-case basis approval), Driver's License, SSN.
