MUST PASS TELE RHYTHM IDENTIFICATION QUIZ
It is required that all nurses, including travelers, are proficient in reading, identifying and reacting to cardiac rhythms. These floors are true cardiac floors and not understanding rhythms can be detrimental to a patient's health
Shift: NIGHTS (1900-0730)Weekend Requirement: Every other weekendHoliday Requirement: Every other holidayWill clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? To like or lesser units
Ratios: 1:4Years of experience REQ: 1 yr (Preferred 2 years)First-timers accepted: Yes
Certs REQ: ACLS , BCLS, NIH
Locals accepted: No, must live outside 50 milesPending License accepted: Yes, must be active prior to start date
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Special Requirements: Must have telemetry and cardiac/stroke experience. Some cardiac drip experience is requiredSee a variety of drips: Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone and Lasix for examplesHave beds able to do hemodialysis (HD done by outside company) so we do see renal patientsAll modes of oxygenation other than vents.
