Registered Pharmacy Technician II - Smith Clinic

Pay: $21.53 to $27.44/hour

About the PositionHarris Health System is seeking a dedicated Registered Pharmacy Technician to join the team as a floater, supporting various departments within the system. The Registered Pharmacy Technician will assist in preparing and dispensing prescribed medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, ensuring excellence in patient care, patient safety, and patient satisfaction. The technician will adhere to all state, federal, organizational, and departmental regulations and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Education/Specialized Training/Licensure:

    • High School Diploma/GED.
    • Registered by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
    • PTCB Certification preferred.
  • Skills:

    • Proficiency in CRT, mathematics, and P.C. applications.
  • Special Requirements:

    • Work Schedule: Weekends, Holidays, Flexible, and Travel as needed.
