Job Description
Okie Staffing is actively seeking a skilled Regular Mechanic to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will perform general repair and maintenance work on a variety of vehicles and machinery, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
This position offers a great opportunity for an experienced mechanic looking to work in a supportive environment with a consistent schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on automotive and light equipment
- Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks
- Repair or replace worn or defective parts, including brakes, suspension, and engines
- Maintain detailed records of repairs and service histories
- Order parts and maintain inventory as needed
- Follow safety standards and company protocols
- Collaborate with other team members to resolve mechanical issues efficiently
Requirements
- Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably in automotive or light equipment repair
- Ability to diagnose mechanical problems accurately and efficiently
- Proficient with hand tools and diagnostic equipment
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work overtime when necessary
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–12:30 AM / Shifts may also vary M - F 7-4pm
Pay Rate DOE 16.00 to $18.00
Overtime: Required as needed
