Under minimal supervision, the Regulatory Manager will create, apply, and maintain materials needed for regulatory compliance. • * Ensuring compliance with all codes, state licensing requirements, shipping, logistics, etc.
• * Aides in permitting process for the design studio.
• * Managing general contracting licenses for all states required.
• * Managing business licenses for all states required.
• * Managing manufacturing and retailer licenses for all states required.
• * Managing and creating relationships with third party agencies and all state agencies involved in general contracting, business, and manufacturing/retail licensing.
• * Code checks for new modular designs.

Qualifications:

• * 3 – 5 years of experience in a legal or compliance setting.
• * Regulatory knowledge of the architectural, manufacturing, or construction industry.
• * Incumbent will need to be detail oriented with working knowledge of current building codes and how they apply to architects and/or manufacturers.
• * Incumbent will interface with many state entities, requiring a customer service focus with internal and external customers.
• * Self-motivated with internal drive to begin and complete tasks without external prompting.
• * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; good listening skills.
• * Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, keeping information organized and accessible.
• * Strong PC skills, including Windows, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Access, and Excel.
• * Working knowledge of Autodesk suite & Adobe Design suite is a plus.
• * Manufacturing and construction industry a plus.
