Your Role...As a Regulatory Policy Operations Specialist at MIS, a ReSource Pro Company,you will take a lead role in new client onboardings and client service for large, complex and/or high touch clients in MIS’ policy rating system. You will also be responsible for the maintenance of MIS’ policy rating system, and help train and develop junior team members in Regulatory Policy Operations.We hire the best because our service is only as good as the people delivering it. This role is based at the MIS office in Maitland, FL with the option for hybrid work arrangements after training period.
In This Role, You Will...
- Research and understand changes being made in insurance regulatory policy operations for software application base product features, bureau changes, and customer development projectsWork with internal technical staff to identify design considerations for software application features/changesCreate written assessments/specifications; define programming changes needed to implement a given software application feature or change for a client in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project teamCreate and execute test plans for policy rating systemPerform tasks related to release management; complete and document tasks associated with the product's software development life cycleIndependently lead implementation of new clients, with a focus on implementations of mid-to-high level complexityGather and document user requirements and use cases to clearly outline the acceptance criteriaCreate detailed project plans; Communicate all plans, tasks, and deadlines to stakeholders and ensure milestones are being met on timeServe as the main point of contact for assigned clients accounts that are larger with mid-to-high level complexityLead regular status calls with assigned clients and manage the relationship, tactfully challenging clients where needed; Ensure high level of client satisfactionDevelop an expertise in internal team tools and server as an SME to internal team members; Identify and propose possible improvements to RPO processes and proceduresCollaborate across the Insurance Policy Operations and MIS teams to assist with tasks and special projects as required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years' work experience in the insurance industry required, P&C experience preferred
- Robust Project Management experience
- Knowledge of insurance regulatory policy
- Strong analytical skills with exceptionally high attention to detail
- Technologically savvy; ability to learn new software programs quickly
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative and team-oriented
