- Understanding and operating FTIR spectroscopy, ICP-MS, XRF, UV-Vis spectroscopy, and gravimetric analysis, as well as other analytical chemistry techniques as required.*
- Preparing, testing, and analyzing samples with accuracy and efficiency.*
- Managing test request intake, aligning with stakeholders on preparation and testing requirements.*
- Providing feedback on sample needs, testing methods, and results.*
- Managing testing timelines and communicating delays or risks proactively.*
- Interpreting, documenting, and reporting data to R&D, Regulatory, Biosafety, and Operations teams.*
- Maintaining laboratory supplies, cleaning the lab, and ensuring compliance with WIs, SOPs, and EH&S requirements.*
- Assisting in developing, validating, and documenting testing methodologies for raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.*
- Supporting the establishment and validation of new or existing compound identification methods.*
- Conducting testing in compliance with cGMP, safety, and regulatory requirements.*
- Supporting lab metrics tracking and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field (highly preferred).*
- Minimum of 3+ years of laboratory experience; chemistry lab experience preferred.*
- Hands-on experience with FTIR spectroscopy.*
- ICP-MS, XRF, UV-Vis, and gravimetric analysis strongly preferred.*
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.*
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and collaborate cross-functionally.*
