Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Understanding and operating FTIR spectroscopy, ICP-MS, XRF, UV-Vis spectroscopy, and gravimetric analysis, as well as other analytical chemistry techniques as required. Preparing, testing, and analyzing samples with accuracy and efficiency. Managing test request intake, aligning with stakeholders on preparation and testing requirements. Providing feedback on sample needs, testing methods, and results. Managing testing timelines and communicating delays or risks proactively. Interpreting, documenting, and reporting data to R&D, Regulatory, Biosafety, and Operations teams. Maintaining laboratory supplies, cleaning the lab, and ensuring compliance with WIs, SOPs, and EH&S requirements. Assisting in developing, validating, and documenting testing methodologies for raw materials, intermediates, and finished products. Supporting the establishment and validation of new or existing compound identification methods. Conducting testing in compliance with cGMP, safety, and regulatory requirements. Supporting lab metrics tracking and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field (highly preferred). Minimum of 3+ years of laboratory experience; chemistry lab experience preferred. Hands-on experience with FTIR spectroscopy. ICP-MS, XRF, UV-Vis, and gravimetric analysis strongly preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and collaborate cross-functionally.
