Handi Medical Supply, a Star Tribune Top Workplace and Bronze Medal Winner in Medical Supplies, is looking for a Rehab Equipment Coordinator to join our growing team.
If you have experience in healthcare, insurance coordination, or customer service—and enjoy guiding patients through complex processes—this could be a great fit.
Pay: $20–$22/hour + commission opportunities
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, referral sources, vendors, and other Handi team members throughout the complex medical equipment process
- Coordinate insurance documentation, authorizations, and communication to ensure timely approvals
- Review orders for accuracy and compliance to support clean claims and efficient operations
- Schedule evaluations, equipment deliveries, and follow-ups with ATPs, technicians, and manufacturer reps
- Track and manage workflows to ensure timely follow-up and excellent customer service
What You Bring
- 2–3 years of experience in healthcare, insurance, or customer coordination roles
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with patients and providers
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with a resourceful approach to navigating complex situations
- Basic understanding of health insurance processes preferred
