Job Description
Our client, a leading organization in the legal and restructuring industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Remote Paralegal to join their team. As a Remote Paralegal, you will be an integral part of the Corporate Restructuring department, supporting critical functions that ensure smooth legal processes and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Remote Paralegal
Location: North Hollywood, CA (On-site, not remote)
Pay Range: $25.00hr to $28.00hr
Shift: 10 am to 5:30 pm PT
What's the Job?
- Manage case dockets and update public access websites as documents are filed with the court
- Respond to telephonic and email creditor inquiries regarding case status, claim deadlines, and disbursements
- Coordinate, input, and review ballots, changes of address, and proofs of claim
- Assist with mailings, including compilation of service lists and preparing affidavits of service
- Perform administrative quality control reviews of proofs of claim and ballots, ensuring accuracy and compliance
What's Needed?
- Strong proficiency in Excel, with the ability to pass a technical Excel test
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and accurately
- Attention to detail and a proactive mindset
- Basic understanding of legal or court processes is a plus but not required
