The International Truth & Trauma Institute (ITTI) is looking for a highly focused, creative and proactive Internet & Social Media Marketing Intern to help raise awareness and public participation of its worldwide trauma, peacebuilding, observatory, humanitarian and policy initiatives.Acquire real-world expertise in digital communications, social media growth strategy, branding, SEO, content development, audience interaction and implementation of online campaigns in a global humanitarian and research setting.Interns will get the opportunity to work on real-world, relevant initiatives such as trauma-informed peacebuilding, conflict observatory, public education campaigns, research dissemination, podcast/media promotion, and international development exposure.Students interested in job in academic internship, residence, practicum & school hour fulfillment are strongly encouraged to apply.Duties & ResponsibilitiesCreate digital entertainment to grab the attention for:LinkedIn Instagram PinterestMeta Tik Tok TwitterDevelop compelling blogs, visuals, short-form videos, promotional and storytelling content aligned with ITTI's goals and ambitionsHelp plan and schedule social media content utilizing Hootsuite, Buffer, Meta Business Suite or other technology platformsSupport branding and digital presence efforts for observatory projects, trauma-informed campaigns, podcasts, webinars, books, and public education activities.Watch online forums and social media to learn about opportunities to increase your audience, spot trends in interaction, and stay informed about important topics around the worldAssist in developing strategic options for partnerships, cooperation, digital outreach and media exposureAssist in the execution of keyword optimization programs and SEO led content strategyReview campaign performance using Google Analytics, platform insights, and engagement data to support basic analytics reportsWork together on graphic design, commercial imaging and digital branding projects using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar technologiesProofread content for clarity, professionalism, consistency and adherence to company messaging.Help brainstorm digital campaigns, internet growth hacks and unique methods to engage folks.Photography, short-form video editing, podcast segments, reels or promotional multimedia as neededMaintain daily work/activity reports in an organized and systematic manner for every worked day.Skills neededUpper division undergraduate or graduate students in the major of:Marketing & Communications Media PR Digital JournalismSocial Media Markteing Graphic design and advertisingBusiness Administration Research & MediaDigital branding, web presence, audience building, and social media marketing enthusiast.
