In this role, you will play a pivotal part in guiding and nurturing our UX team, while also being actively engaged in hands-on work. Your leadership will be crucial as we strive to elevate our UX practices, improve digital experiences for public services, and foster collaboration with other departments. You will help shift from reactive to strategic UX improvements, work toward modernizing our processes, and enhance the overall product quality and consistency. Accountabilities
- Lead and grow the UX team, focusing on performance assessments and career development.
- Design and refine practical UX processes tailored to our culture and product lifecycles.
- Set and uphold standards for UX quality, focusing on usability and accessibility.
- Partner with teams to create a centralized design system and ensure consistent UI components.
- Encourage innovative use of AI-assisted tools within the UX practice.
- Collaborate with product and tech leaders to integrate accessibility into workflows.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in UX Research & Design, preferably in B2B/B2G or SaaS applications.
- 2+ years in a leadership capacity, with direct people management experience.
- Strong background in both research and design methodologies.
- Familiarity with modern UX tools such as Figma and various research platforms.
- Working knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards.
- Proven ability to prioritize UX work and communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
