Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:Repair Technicians perform repair, rework, assembly, and testing of printed circuit boards (PCBs). Depending on level, technicians may be responsible for basic soldering tasks, advanced troubleshooting, training, or procedure development.Responsibilities:

Independently perform PCB repair, rework, and assembly processes.
Remove and replace advanced components, including BGAs and fine-pitch SMT.
Troubleshoot board-level issues and perform functional testing.
Set up and operate rework stations and testing equipment.
Assist in refining repair processes and documenting procedures.
Provide informal guidance to Level I technicians.
Perform in-line inspection and ensure compliance with IPC and company standards.

Qualifications:

2+ years of hands-on PCB repair and assembly experience.
Proficiency in soldering, rework, and troubleshooting of SMT, BGA, and thru-hole components.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
Knowledge of ESD practices and industry standards (e.g., IPC-A-610, J-STD-001).
