About The Role

The Resales Specialist (Retail Sales Associate) is a key sales position in our retail stores at The RealReal. As a Resales Specialist, you are goal-oriented and driven to achieve and exceed sales goals. You're client-obsessed, adaptable to change in a "startup" environment, and passionate about sustainable luxury fashion. • Full time positions must have the ability to commit to 40 hours per week and Part time positions must have ability to commit to 25 hours per week including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

What You Get To Do Every Day

• Drive sales through client engagement, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge

• Provide a high level of service while navigating multiple customer journeys simultaneously

• Educate clients on The RealReal's mission of sustainable fashion and business structure

• Build brand loyalty by delivering a best in class customer experience

• Outreach daily to existing customers to drive traffic into your retail store

• Assist with opening and closing procedures

• Support store daily tasks, such as replenishing supplies, replenishing merchandise and maintaining brand standards

• Other duties as assigned

What You Bring To The Role

Minimum Requirements:

• 1+ year of experience working in retail sales

• A positive, friendly demeanor with the ability to represent the TRR brand with integrity and professionalism at all times

• Genuine passion and enthusiasm for the customer experience

• Proven ability to excel in a metrics-based sales environment

• Self-motivation and a drive to achieve results

• Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills

• Adaptability and openness to change

• Receptiveness to feedback to improve performance

• Ability to quickly learn and master new technological tools

Preferred Requirements:

• Previous luxury/consignment retail experience

• Proficiency with Google Suite and Salesforce

• Experience using Mac iOS operating system

The expected hourly rate for this role is $21.00-$25.00. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate's skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR's total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
