The Women’s Center in Vienna, Virginia is seeking a Resident-in-Counseling / Supervisee in Social Work to join our collaborative clinical team. Position Overview:
- Schedule: 25 hours per week (22 client-facing hours) with potential to full-time-Evening and or Weekend hours required.
- Population Served: Individuals, children, teens, adults, couples, and families.
- Clinical Focus: Providing individual, group, couples, teen, child, and family counseling and conducting comprehensive assessments.
Essential Duties:
- Provide psychotherapy services in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and professional ethical standards.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes detailing reported data, clinical observations, impressions, and treatment interventions.
- Routinely evaluate client progress toward treatment goals and adjust treatment plans as clinically indicated.
- Ensure all clinical files are secured and maintained according to Center policies and confidentiality standards.
