This role offers meaningful work supporting individuals to maintain independence and improve quality of life.As a Resident Service Coordinator, you'll serve as a community advocate, educator, and connector, working closely with residents, property management, and community resources to foster a supportive environment. Your efforts will directly impact residents well-being and foster a sense of belonging.What You'll Do As a Resident Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting tenants in identifying and accessing services and benefits to support independence*
- Coordinating resident activities and community-building events*
- Facilitating communication and cooperation between residents and management*
- Helping residents with document preparation and transitions, including nursing home placements*
- Managing community resources to meet resident needs*
- Responding to resident concerns, including behavioral issues like hoarding or disputes*
- Preparing monthly and annual reports for HUD and company compliance
- Experience in social services, particularly with elderly or disabled populations (highly preferred)*
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)*
- Excellent organization and problem-solving skills*
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities*
- HS Diploma required; college degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field preferred
