Job Summary
As a Residential Construction Carpenter, you will oversee field production, ensuring all work meets our high-quality standards, is completed safely, and is on schedule. This position blends hands-on carpentry with leadership, as you'll perform both rough and finish carpentry, guide a small team, and serve as the eyes and ears on the job site.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and work alongside carpenters on custom residential projects
- Perform both rough and finish carpentry with a focus on quality and efficiency
- Interpret project plans and communicate any scope changes to the team
- Ensure job site safety, cleanliness, and protection from the elements
- Maintain effective communication with Project Managers and company leadership
- Prepare material lists and notify the team of special order items
- Represent the company professionally on all job sites
- Hold yourself and your team accountable for quality, timelines, and conduct
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of carpentry experience (rough and finish)
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide a small crew
- Strong communication, accountability, and problem-solving abilities
- Self-starter who works independently and efficiently
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must own standard hand tools and a drill set
Salary and Benefits:
- $22 - $28 per hour, commensurate with experience
- Paid time off
