Job Description

If you love turning home designs into clean, buildable plans, this one's for you. A growing residential construction client is seeking a drafter to produce construction drawings for new single-family homes.

What You'll Do

Produce construction drawings for new homes, including floor plans, elevations, sections, roof plans and details
Turn sketches, redlines and design input into accurate, permit-ready plan sets
Revise plans for customer options, structural changes and code requirements
Work with designers, estimators, engineers and the field team so plans are buildable and on schedule
Keep plan libraries, standards and drawing files organized and up to date

What You Bring

Experience drafting residential homes, with builder or architectural experience a plus
Strong skills in AutoCAD, Chief Architect, Revit or similar software
Working knowledge of residential construction methods and building codes
The ability to read and interpret construction documents and redlines
A sharp eye for detail and the ability to manage several projects at once

Compensation: $90,000-$100,000 per year (DOE)
