Residential HVAC Apprentice – Job Description
Always Comfy LLC is a growing, family-friendly residential HVAC company serving Central New Jersey (Middlesex, Somerset, Union, and Monmouth counties). We're known for premium installations, great customer service, and a team culture that actually supports your growth. We're looking for a motivated HVAC Apprentice who's ready to learn the trade and grow into a skilled installer or service technician.
What You'll Do
Assist senior installers and technicians with residential HVAC installs, tune-ups, and repairs
Learn how to install and service furnaces, AC units, heat pumps, and ductless systems
Help load/unload equipment, prep job sites, and organize materials
Keep tools, equipment, and work vehicles clean and well-maintained
Follow safety guidelines and company procedures
Provide friendly, respectful customer service
Develop technical skills through hands-on training and mentorship
What We're Looking For
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Mechanical aptitude or interest in the HVAC trade
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, basements, and crawl spaces
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Good communication and teamwork skills
EPA 608 certification is a plus (but not required)
No experience required — we will train the right person
